I was so excited to get some chinagraph pencils in the mail but they’re not real chinagraphs (sob) they’re some sort of a weird hybrid – way too waxy/oily and need constant sharpening (not for the intended use in sketch books).
The pencils I received are made by Staedtler and have ‘glasochrom’, and ‘Lumocolor permanent’ written on them.
They’ll be great for completely different uses i.e. maybe at life drawing … nay, even then they will be frustrating because you would have to sharpen them every 2 seconds.
I have a dozen black and a dozen white going cheap …
